Here’s who I am :
My name is Gurvan “Gus” Sicard, I was born in Quimper, Brittany in 1978. I started drumming in 1991, taught by my uncle Ronan Sicard and played with him in Brest St Mark in 1992. We then joined Bagad Cap Caval in the fall of 1993, played in Grade 3 in 1994, Grade 2 in 1995 and Grade 1 since 1996 !

I’ve been leading drummer for Cap Caval from 1998 to 2006 before moving to Glasgow in January 2007 to play with the Scottish Power Pipe Band.
I’m also competing for solos : Breton Solo Drumming Champion in 2003 and 6 times runner-up since 1997…!!
