This was the first time I'd ever heard this guy McWhirter play and yes lads he was definitely robbed so I'd love to know who was adjudicating as he is a more musical drummer (reminds me of Johnny Keogh in his ability to flow with the tune) as well as having great dexterity……….and the Links Of Forth is allegedly the original name for a very old tune but Tom MacAllister took it to add bits to it and now the final edit is called by both names now….

It's the same tune, just a different name, kind of like Bogan Lochan and Atholl Cummers
